As politics go, hypocrisy along with the immunity of a second term is particularly grating.
But apparently they are the only prerequisites needed to appear before Planned Parenthood.
On balance, it would appear a deserving collaboration, an institution whose dubious history is heralded by a president with little to lose and the arrogance to flaunt it.
For a man with two daughters, coming to Planned Parenthood to espouse women's healthcare is questionable parenting and a marked diminution of the office he holds.
I’ve witnessed the collapse of fellow catholic and Senator, Bob Casey, to pressure from gay coalitions.
I’m left to wonder after the last shred of decency is blotted out from all of Washington, what’ll be left?
Men do not stand for principle anymore. And they’re aided in their bellicosity by a media slavish to any brand of mediocrity.
It's always easy to accuse America of slumping but I think there is something more insidious punching our ticket to hell.
We are being painstakingly lulled into another world of reality created by myopia of our own device.
Now, you may say evil is a draconian term but I would counter by whose authority do we slaughter innocent babies?
Whose providence is served by a man marrying another man?
Across the broadcloth of humanity, the family has always served as the nucleus of our evolution. And though while not perfect it is with an eye towards our Creator that we help each other by His Grace.
I’m not sure to the extent that we are complicit in our own undoing that we haven’t mortally wounded the ability to correct it.
As I see it now, America is being led by a president and Congress at complete odds over the difference between good and evil.
Thank you for your consideration.
