It is fabulously extravagant and well beyond my reach.
While it may be a marvel to behold it has no value to me.
All of the medical innovations in the world have no meaning if their primary benefit is excised by profit.
In a few short months I will be required by law to have healthcare.
What does that mean?
That I will be forced to pay an exorbitant premium to some insurer whose motivation is to maximize the bottom line providing me a policy bereft of meaningful benefits but loaded with legalese!
I commend President Obama for trying to marshal the wherewithal of the federal government to combat these medical leviathans however credit their obfuscation along with the sword of cynicism wielded by so many in Congress that will insure affordability for quality remains elusive.
Not many Americans can afford diamonds of any variety so their value becomes lost when applied to usefulness.
Healthcare in America is a diamond ensconced in a museum and vigorously protected.
